our philosophy

Beaverton Christian Church is a non-denominational fellowship of believers who have no creed but Christ, no book but the Bible, and wear no name but Christian. We believe that Christ is the Head of His Church and, therefore, every Christian is a part of His body. We do not believe that we are the only Christians but earnestly strive to be Christians only. We seek to speak where the Bible speaks and to remain silent where the Bible is silent. We take the Bible and the Bible alone as our only rule of faith and practice.

I want to encourage you to consider making Beaverton Christian your church home. We believe that Beaverton Christian is one of the most exciting churches in the Portland metropolitan area.

In selecting a local church to attend, one should be extremely careful to select a church that reflects authentic Christianity. Here are 5 marks of a biblical church:

Evangelistic
The early church existed to reach un-reached people.

Loving
The early Christians were known by their intense love for one another.

Bible Preaching
The early church preached the Word of God.

The early church unashamedly lifted their voices in praise to God in song and spoken praise.
